We were all very impressed by the Flipboard application when it first came out. It introduced a new way to browse through news and social feeds.
BlancSpot is aiming at the same target, redefining the way we browse RSS feeds. The app brings you the news in a different, artsy kind of way. It allows you to scroll through headlines by displaying nice high quality pictures and at the same time lets you enjoy relaxing music.
You can either just sit back and watch the articles slowly pass by on their own, or swipe through them until you find something that is more your cup of tea.
Just as with other similar apps, you can share the news you are reading via Facebook, Twitter or by Email. But on top of this, you can create your Blancspot account to enable your own personal channel and to let you browse you friends’ feed sources and articles suggestions.
Of course, if you like the songs that Blancspot is playing while displaying your news, it will let you easily buy them through iTunes so you can add them to your personnal library.
We really liked Blancspot for iPhone, we can’t wait for an iPad specific version!
